Family Reunion

Friday, July 18 to Sunday, July 20, 2014

We had a great weekend staying busy and enjoying the company of our loving family.

We had campfires, scoured garage sales, some of us went golfing (four of us), and we played on the beach. We mostly made time for hanging out and reconnecting with everyone. There were 3 babies out of 25 people at the cottage altogether. This was the first year that Mim and Pip weren’t able to make the trip to Kincardine and, because they are the heart of the Chappus family, we all really missed their company.

Rick and I really like the Kincardine Marina and the town of Kincardine. We used our fold-up bikes to ride back and forth from the marina to the cottage (approximately 4 kilometers). We also used the bikes to do some exploring of the town and to get some errands done.

Overall, beautiful weather, good company, and lots of fun!
