Today was our first day in Kingston with our brand new (to us) Ontario 32 sailboat, Guinevere.
The boat is on the hard, in her cradle, so there wasn’t much we could do to ready her today. Rick removed the hull decal that showed Ottawa as Guinevere’s hometown.
I sorted through some of the sailboat goodies that the previous owners left for us. I had fun exploring all of the nooks and crannies of the boat and dreaming of making her our cozy little home away from home.
Tomorrow morning at 10:00 a.m. the crane is going to pick the boat up, move her to the water, and launch her. I’m really looking forward to having her in the water where she belongs!
To sleep tonight, we have moved things around inside the boat and plan to settle into our sleeping bags on the settees.
